Check a Jersey trust company

Start with the original sources to confirm a firm’s identity, current authorisation and the services it is permitted to provide.

What to check

Exact legal name. Establish which legal entity you would engage. A shared brand or similar name does not establish identity.
Current permissions. Check the JFSC register for the relevant business permissions and any conditions or restrictions. Company registration and financial-services authorisation are different.
Original statements. Check the JFSC website for public statements and warnings. Read the original dated source and confirm the entity concerned.
Independent contact details. Confirm the provider’s contact details independently and ask about services, fees, complaints and contractual terms.

Membership is a separate question
